CNY 2011 + other updates!

Hello people, I know that all my posts have been dragged because I didn't have the time to blog about recent events so I'm trying to catch up now! ;)

Had a gathering with my fellow Taka colleagues! I missed them shoooo much because we haven't met for ages!! We met each other at City Hall MRT station first at 1PM. ^^

Weiming was late so we waited for him at Starbucks.

Weiming still hasn't arrived yet at this point of time, so we walked to Marina Square and headed straight for SuperBowl where he would meet us there.

We played 2 rounds of bowling! This was our first round score, the second round was taken using Zulhelmi's iPhone and I forgot to get him to send me the picture through WhatsApp so let's just give it a miss.~

After the bowling session, we went to the arcade just opposite SuperBowl. Zulhelmi and Weiming played pool while Sarah and I sat at the corner looking like some bar girl. -.-

At first, the guys actually taught us how to play pool but we girls found it kinda difficult to control the stick and aim properly so we gave up playin' it. Another reason why we didn't play was because we had this stereotype thinking that pool is a wild game and only vain girls join in... Just an opinion, don't take it by heart if you're a girl who loves playing pool. Peace. :)

1 Day before CNY:

I remembered that I rushed back home after work at around 6PM then helped with the spring cleaning. After so, had reunion dinner with my lovely family at home. It was a sumptuous feast indeed. Once we'd filled our stomachs, we continued with the cleaning and hurriedly bathed before midnight struck. It was a hectic day indeed but we fulfilled our tasks and were ready to welcome the money god, huat ah~!

Day 1 of CNY:

Woke up early at around 10am, dressed up and stuff. But it was sort of a special day so my mom helped me with some eye make-up. Just a simple one. She drew a thin eyeliner across my eyelids as well as mascara for my eyelashes. It was the first time applying make-up for these whole 16+ years of my life. HAHA.

We visited my grandmother's house. We just had to stay in that house, because the other relatives (my father's side) would all visit my grandmother's house. It's more convenient that way too! Didn't receive as many red packets as last year though. Sadly...

Day 2 of CNY:

Day 2 was spent at home. It was a really simple day. And mom cooked a huge feast for lunch!! Love mama's cooking, da best of da best! WEE.

On day 2, it was also my sista's birthday! That's why we decided to not go for house visits but celebrate my sista's birthday. We had dinner at New York New York, it was pretty awesome 'cos there were no other customers in the retaurant except us. There was a sort of VIP feel, as if we'd booked the whole restaurant down.

The quantity was so much that my stomach was so bloated that it could explode any minute! But I love the feeling when my body consumed good food like these. Even though I'm so full that I am limping, there's still a smile plastered on my face. Hehe!

Day 3 of CNY:

Mimmie and I met up with mimmie's third sister and my niece before travelling to their second sister's house for visiting! I didn't go there last year because I was busy with school and gosh, you didn't know how disappointed I was when I realised I couldn't make it. Do you know why? Because my second aunt's husband is a chef hence every time we go to his house during CNY, we would enjoy a classic, delicious and filling meal. Every year, new dishes are cooked and we get to taste different delicacies on our taste buds unlike my father's side! My grandmother always cooks the same old stuff, every... single... YEAR.

Furthermore, there are always a lot (emphasis on the word LOT) of goodies there, in my second aunt's home. They're really good because they specially ordered the goodies as it was really popular so you won't be able to get that particular pack of goodies on the spot.

This Angry Bird red packet was given to me from my second aunt! Although I don't like Angry Bird, I found this particular red packet really interesting and humorous! Observe the front and back view of the red packet. The chinese words mean to improve and do well in the academic area, and then they show all the 100 marks with the chinese word meaning 'good'. Haha, just sharing!

Day 8 of CNY:

Met up with Zicong (our camp instructor), Wee Siang, Dara, Wesley, Chu Yu, Chuin Ann and Joseph at Yishun MRT station. It was sort of a gathering cum CNY visit. We had lunch at Sakae Sushi before taking the bus to Zicong's house which was located at Pasir Ris.~

Once we reached Zicong's house, we settled down, made ourselves comfortable while Zicong prepared a movie for us to watch. It was a Thai movie, the genre was romance, comedy and music. It was my first time watching a Thai movie and I actually quite liked it! After which, we decided to play mahjong!!!

Only 2 of us knew how to play the mahjong, the rest were completely lost. I was half lost, because I'd forgotten how to play it. The only person in my family who knows how to play mahjong is my dad but he isn't willing to teach... So, Zicong patiently taught us the rules as well as methods to win the game. We played about 5 rounds of mahjong.~

We left Zicong's house and headed to Changi Airport for dinner then boarded 858 home, it was a long journey.

A very Happy Valentine's Day indeed.

Hey guys! Yep, I've updated my blog skin and I know there isn't much changes except for the banner at the top. I did it myself and I really like it! HEHE.

So anyway, this year's Valentines was sort of, pretty special to me because I actually got a confession text + surprise + gifts and it kinda blew me off... I didn't really expect all these and then it just happened so quickly that I almost couldn't believe it.

Mentioning the word 'believe', I can't actually BELIEVE that I am sharing this to any tom, dick and harry out there!

This was what's drawn by hand in the mini Rilakkuma notebook.

The gifts were quite amazing right? It's like there was really sincerity in it. AW. I'm really grateful for the presents I have received, it really shows how much people actually care about the little things about me. Just look at the Rilakkuma drawings, all my lovely Rilakkumas~! Thank you!

On a second note, I wanna confess my love to.................................................. my family!

Even though there were countless of arguments, sadness and frustration sometimes, I'll still love my parents and sista till the day I die.

Valentine's Day is not just spreading your love to your other half but also to your family and friends so to all these single people out there (including me), don't be dejected alright. The right one will come to you soon.~

I'm actually done with the other updates on previous events in another post which I'd saved it as draft! I intended to publish the post together with this Valentine's post but I didn't want so many updates to clash together on the same day so I'll update it in about 2 days' time, till then!

Day 4

Buffet breakfast again!

Yep, we went to sit on trishaws and it wasn't a wonderful experience because it was already freaking cold and when we rode the trishaw, there was strong wind which was worse than the cold weather. We were shivering, my jaw was literally moving up and down in full speed... But halfway through the ride, we got used to it and the shivering stopped.

The water has frozen to ice, just like in Korea. Cold temperature...

Day 5

Noticed something funny about the museum's lift buttons. Instead of B1 or B2, it was -1 and -2...

This palace was really cool. It doesn't consist of 3 levels, it's a 1 level building. So the ceiling of the palace was really really high.~

The day was really short so it was still early when we returned to the hotel hence we decided to go free and easy and went to the nearby shopping centres for some shopping. But to our disappointment, there was nothing worth buying...

Day 6

This is a humongous bell right? It's a tradition to ring this bell on Chinese Lunar New Year. If you guys have watched the news, they actually showed a clip of two men ringing the bell on CNY.

We were travelling from Beijing to Tianjin by this fast speed Maglev train. The train ride was not bumpy at all and we reached Tianjin in 1 hours' time.

In Tianjin, we got out of the train station and walked to this place called the 'Italian Style Town'. The place was fantastic, the buildings were really pretty and when we you walked down the street, it felt as if you were in Italy.

Went for some shopping before having lunch in one of the restaurants.~

The place was super crowded.

After that, from Tianjin, we travelled straight to Chengde by bus.~ It was a really long bus ride, took about 5 hours to reach there.

This was the 4-star hotel that we stayed in Chengde. It wasn't as grand as the Sheraton hotel in Beijing.

Day 7

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that in Chengde, it was super cold. Very much colder than Beijing/Tianjin. Beijing's weather ranges from about -1 to -8 degree celcius while Chengde's weather ranges from -12 to -16 degree celcius. We were lucky because we only stayed in Chengde for one day and the temperature was at -14 degree celcius. One day ago, it was -16 degree celcius. Thank god, it's as if the country is turning into a human refrigerator!!

Because the temperature was so low in Chengde, the whole river has entirely frozen into thick ice. So many of the neitizens there grabbed the opportunity to ice-skate for free. HAHA.

This was a really special lake that would not turn to ice on cold temperature. It's natural, not man-made or anything.

Last meal at Chengde.

After lunch, we left Chengde and headed back to Beijing. This time the bus ride was not really long because the distance between Chengde and Beijing was closer as compared to the distance between Chengde and Tianjin.

Back in Beijing, we went to a jewellery store.

Just in case you're wondering, I didn't finish the whole candy floss on my own. I shared it with my mom and sista.~

Went to see a Kungfu Panda performance. It was really captivating!

Day 8

Our next destination. This place is some sort of art gallery where there are many art works around like statues, paintings, etc.

Day 9

By the time we reached Singapore, it was 10AM in the morning, 14 January. We were really tired from the long journey by plane but once we took the cab home, we had to pack our luggage for the Genting trip. It was a long family vacation indeed.

So, after reading these 2 blog posts on my Beijing trip, did it dawn on you that there were many pictures of food? Yep, I also uploaded these pictures on Facebook already and one of my friend actually told me about the numerous pictures of food. He said that they looked really tasty and sumptuous, making him have the thought of going Beijing right there and then just to gobble up the food. I should say, not all the dishes are delicious, most of them are but a few are not up to expectation. It was my first time consuming such large amount of food that I literally gained 1kg every night!! It was a memorable trip and we're planning to travel to Taiwan this coming June holiday. I really love to travel, you can really relax your mind and soul. All you have to do is just eat, play, sleep, take pictures and do shopping. We can also learn about the different cultures of other countries and taste different types of food. It is a learning journey where you can never experience in class.

Before we decided to go to Beijing, I actually suggested that we travel to Korea again. I was so eager to go there and I think I will never be sick of that country!! However, my parents claimed that because we went to Korea just 2 years ago, we still have vivid memories on the trip so it was kinda pointless so they said that we'll go to Korea in another two years' time.

I still have a lot of countries in mind that I wish to travel to! Namely, Taiwan, Paris, France, USA, Germany, Italy, Sydney and Melbourne!

I'll be updating on Chinese Lunar New Year soon as well before I start work. I apologise for all the late updates, had been busy so I abandoned my blog for quite some time. I am aware that it is collecting some dust already so I'd better create more posts.~
One more thing, I'm heading out for a gathering tomorrow! I am so happy because I can finally see my ex-colleagues from Takashimaya again. It has been so long since I last saw them and I've missed them already! Tomorrow will definitely be an enjoyable day.~Note-to-self: Take a lot of pictures together!

Family Vacation (Part I)

Hello, fellow readers. At last, I'm gonna blog about my Beijing trip. In case you've forgotten, I went overseas last December from a period of 5 Jan to 14 Jan to Beijing. Right after we landed back in Singapore, we packed our luggage again and headed off to Genting in the night. I shall not update this space on the Genting trip but simply concentrate on the Beijing trip will do. So do keep yourselves occupied with this very long post on my family vacation.

P.S. This blog post will be split into 2 or 3 posts.

Day 1

Upon checking that we had everything in place, we left home and took a cab to Changi Airport. We reached there at about 10PM, one hour before our flight at 11.30PM. We checked in and then shopped at the Duty-Free stores.

When it was time to board the plane, we went ahead to do the necessary security checks. Our seating location was pretty good because we got to seat in the 5 row seats. Bid goodbye to Singapore and off we flew to Beijing!

This was supposed to be our breakfast but the food was served at 1AM, 1 hour after our plane took off. Dumb or what?

I don't really like long flights because I can't really fall asleep in the plane and what's worse is that there is nothing much I can do to kill time. The duration from Singapore to Beijing was about 6 hours, almost the same for Korea. So can you imagine how elated I was when we landed in Beijing after 6 hours?

Oh, and I really need to comment on the services provided by the air-stewardess from China Airline. Or rather, complain and pin-point on the horrible attitude. Seriously, their services was downright bad. It was the first time receiving such improper services even after I've taken Singapore Airlines(SQ), Korean Air and Tiger Airways. Have you ever seen the air-stewardess sleeping during our flight as if they are the passengers themselves? Their job is to serve the passengers on the plane! But after giving out the food and drinks, they went to sleep! Because of this, passengers had to do self-service on the beverages that they needed afterwards. Someone should really feedback on this.

Day 2

It was around 6AM when we reached Beijing and the sky was already bright. Beijing and Korea's skies brighten 2 hours earlier and darkens 2 hours earlier as compared to Singapore. It was kinda weird for us because we were not used to it. We then awaited for the tour guide and coach to bring us to our hotel.

Finally, we reached our 5-star hotel! It's called Four Points by Sheraton.

Here's the answer to that question. The Great Wall!

We were the only family who climbed the Great Wall. The rest from our tour group gave up. What a waste eh.

Although it was a challenging task to climb the Great Wall, it was a wonderful experience. No wonder the enemies surrendered when they climbed this, it was not as easy as it seemed. The stairs were not even, some had very huge gaps and were really steep. Going up was difficult but it wasn't as bad as going down...

We sketched our names on the walls, to prove that we had been there before. Haha.

We actually climbed up this super steep flight of stairs to see the scenery and to sketch our names. Mimmie and sista had problems going back down because they have phobia of heights.

Went into this small shop to have a cup of hot drink. At first my parents wanted to do this certificate thingy to keep it as a memory. We expected it to be in some A4 size photo frame but the sample turned out to be a card and the photo was passport sized. The photo can only fit 2 people. It was ridiculous so we didn't get it. I mean who would see that card if you were to display it?!

Because of time factor, we stopped halfway and climbed down the mountain.

All of us perspired even though the weather was at -6 degree celcius!

Next up was ice-skating!! :D

All of us went to ice-skate except mom. The first and previous time I went for ice-skating was in Korea! Even though it was my first time, I skated like a professional and didn't fall on my feet! This time, I was even more experienced, maybe because it was my second time. Not only did I not fall, I even skated down the slope 5 times! WOO.

Sista underwent some training. It has to be paid though...

After skating, we went for some tea session at Dr. Tea.

After much introduction of the different tea and the advantages of it, we bought quite a lot, worth $400+. But until now, we only drank the tea once...

Well, CHRISTMAS�� was quite well-spent because I could go for the Christmas party�� + dinner at Changi Beach Club as it was my off day! In addition, I received many Christmas gifts from my colleagues, friends and family. Thank you~! ��

As seen from the title/heading, I will be away as I am leaving Singapore!!!

I am leaving tonight to catch my flight at 12.30AM. I'm going to Beijing, Tianjin and Chengde for my vacation with my dearest family. You won't know how excited I am~! I had been waiting for this day to come and if you'd followed my Twitter, you would be aware that I was counting down for this day. Haha.~ It is an 8D7N trip so I would be coming back on the 14 December.

O....kay, so why did I type that I will be away until the 16 instead of 14 December? Was it a typo error?

Nope! Because after coming back from Beijing, I would be leaving Singapore again... Yes again. In the night, we will be going to Genting/Malaysia.

Yup! Because of this long holiday, I was unable to successfully get a part-time job. Oh well, it was worth it though. HAHA. Anyway, my parents did not force me to go to work, I did so voluntarily in order to gain some working experience and see how the working life feels like.~

In Beijing, one of the famous tourist attractions is the Great Wall of China. We're gonna climb that wall during our trip! For our accommodation, we are staying in 5-star hotels!

There is many more to come on our schedule but I'm not going to let the cat out of the bag yet. I shall keep you people in suspense so if you guys want to know more about my awesome overseas trip then you will have to wait patiently for my next post.~

November 2011 - A month of joy

~22 - 24 Nov '11~

For the past 3 days, I spent the whole day at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and enjoyed myself to the fullest because I went for... RED Camp 8! RC8 totally rocks. It was such a pity for you guys out there who had missed this awesome camp.

I registered for this camp alone because my friends were all busy or had signed up for other camps like TPrawks. And guess what? I was the only person in Naval Base Sec who attended RC8! Although my primary school mates joined RC8, we were dispersed to different tribes (groups) i.e. I was in the Ninja Tribe while they were in the Vikings Tribe.

BUT fret not, I made many new friends there and did not feel the least bit lonely when participating in activities. It was such a great experience that my emotions were uncontrollable on Day 3. In other words, I teared. It was depressing to leave all my NINJA friends and Student Leaders (the NINJA Family). Everybody couldn't bear to leave NP when we were dismissed...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! It is my favourite day of the year and I've finally turned 16!

This was how I spent my big day - Headed out with my lovely family. Went to book the tickets and the tour group to Beijing! And then had our meals at Pariss International Restaurant. The food there is lip-smacking. The place is grand too, not to mention, it is expensive. Haha!

On the 18 November, I went to Jurong Point with my Sista to attend 2PM's Meet & Greet Session! It was so spectacular to catch 2PM live!!! Jurong Point was flooded with crazy fans really quickly at an early timing. The security guards were busy chasing away fans who were stationed at several areas around the shopping centre, blocking the path of shoppers and resulting in a congestion. Luckily, we found a seat at Subway where the view is just right for us to see 2PM! At last, 2PM appeared and everyone screamed at the top of their lungs. It was mad I tell you. Took pictures but it wasn't really clear... Recorded a video and it was splendid because Wooyoung and my Nickhun actually looked into my direction!! It was magnificent! But sadly... I couldn't transfer the video so I can't post it up... Sorry readers.~ :(

Went to Bugis Junction with Jia Min yesterday~! Had Pepper Lunch for our meals and after satisfying our stomachs, we proceeded to shopping! I bought myself a Rilakkuma wallet. Was really contented with it!

Jia Min, on the other hand bought a handbag for her Prom for just $10! Bugis is such an ideal place to shop for cheap and awesome stuff.

Also, during our chatting session, Jia Min actually said I looked like a rich girl and that I was really fair!! That compliment really made my day.~ She was even doubtful that I didn't had make up on. Haha, babe, I don't apply make up because I think it is troublesome and time-consuming. I'm such a lazy person so I wouldn't even bother to have make up on! HEHE.

Celebration for the end of O Levels!

Yesterday was the end of the O Levels Examinations! Like finally...

But somehow, I have this feeling where the exams haven't really ended because we haven't received our results yet. *Gulp* Well, I'm sure everyone would have butterflies in their stomach when they are receiving the certificate. Okay, let's not think about that now, just like what Mrs Raghesh told me - "Go paint the town red."

Sooooooooooo. Right after our paper, I headed straight home.

Guess what was the first thing I did.~

Yeshhhhh, I did pedicure.~~ I polished my toe nails with a glittery metallic grey colour in 10 minutes. Haha, fast right?

Right after, I quickly changed and rushed out to meet Qilin at Orchard. We headed to ION > Vivienne Westwood for some shopping. While waiting for our stock to be sent over to the outlet, we camwhored. (It's a girl's hobby.)

Our next stop was Far East Plaza but there was a problem because I forgot how to get there... You can't blame me! It has been more than a year since I had stepped onto the grounds of Orchard Road. We were like lost children...

Luckily, after walking around and finding our way here and there, I managed to recall the path to our destination. Phew! For a split second, I was thinking of calling up my mom to ask her for directions! HAHA.

We had late lunch in KFC first. Yummy... but fatty. Anyway, FEP has changed quite a lot and many shops were still not opened yet at that time so there was not much shopping to do there.

We then proceeded to Cineleisure and shopped at this boutique called 'SMUDGE', it is opened by JJ. The layout of the store was unique and interesting.~

Hurriedly, we walked to 313 as the grey clouds were looming over. More shopping~! Not to mention, more elephant statues too! Wondering why is that so? According to Qilin, this year's Christmas theme is elephants. Therefore, not only are there dazzling Christmas decorations and lightings, there are also hundreds of elephant statues of different designs everywhere in Orchard. Personally, I found it weird. Here's an example:

Soon, our energy was all drained out, legs were aching and complaints of being tired got more frequent thus we bought fruit juice and had a sit. While having our refreshments, we had a long chat. Took a few more pictures and went our separate ways. It was a fun and memorable outing indeed.~

That Rilakkuma pouch is given from Qilin to me as an early birthday gift as she would be leaving Singapore tomorrow. I love it a lot! She even surprised me by wrapping it with a Hello Kitty plastic bag. Haha.~ ♥

About 1 more week to my birthday. I wish it would be a fruitful sweet 16th birthday celebration with my family and friends.~~~

My hair has grown pretty lng already~! *Beams* Thinking of dyeing my hair... Hoho.

Howdy people! Today seems like a day where everything will be smooth-sailing.~

Since, all the numbers are 1, let me be a little superstitious to assume that today is a good day and I will score many A1s for my O Levels! Bwahahaha.

It may be a special day for a few people but nah... Today is not a special day for me, it is just an ordinary day with unique numbers for a date.

Next year, let us look forward to 12/12/12 yeah!!

Anyway, I am aware that I had not been updating this space for a gazillion years. Because I had some business with my studies so there was not enough time to spare for blogging. As you can see, this domain is very much deserted, isolated, dead... and so on... To relive it, I would update constantly on the past as well as the present.

So far, I still have one more paper to go which is Chemistry SPA Paper 1 then FINALLY I would be freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Can't wait for that day. Following up would be many outings with my fellow friends and family.

Very very soon, my birthday will be coming up too, it is just around the corner (21 Nov) so what are you waiting for?! Have you gotten me presents?!?!
Hehe... It's my sweet 16th birthday this year. It would definitely be natural for someone like me to wish for a fruitful birthday celebration right?

I just pray and hope that I will achieve my wanted results, a distinction would definitely be the best! I don't wish to re-take my MT Papers so please please please God, let me do well for it.~

Yes! They are the tickets to The Best 2011 Rain Asia Tour in Singapore Concert!!! Two tickets for momma and I. Sister isn't interested in Rain, what a weirdo! Ha ha, I mean like, how can you not love Rain, that sexy and hot man who is amazingly talented too. Anyway, my momma bought the most expensive tickets, $288 each. But it turned out to be $291, GST inclusive. So, the total price for the tickets are $582! He he.

Okay, you wouldn't how excited I am for this concert! I am constantly imagining, that particular day when it comes, me catching Rain LIVE and IN PERSON. Oh my god, if he strips, I think I might faint on the spot, HA HA HA HA HA.

Oh yes, I would like to thank my lovely momma for buying the tickets. I seriously got the best momma in the whole universe. She loves Rain too! Yay! Ho ho! ♥

It is 34°C in Singapore!! What a 'terrific' weather isn't it?! Gosh, it is so hot, no wonder I am perspiring so much, feeling so sticky and all.

Well..................... My parents bought heaps of stuff from Hong Kong for Sis and I! I was so happy and thrilled. Everything was so brilliant and magnificent. One of them is the top that I am wearing in this picture (top)~! Gorgeous right? It is so unique. I like it a lot. Hehe. Momma also bought me Hello Kitty stuff, like pencil case and also the watch (that I am wearing in the picture). And many other things which I shall not mention. Of course, they bought food which I hadn't got a taste of it yet except for Hong Kong's famous 老婆饼. I also viewed the 1000+ pictures that Papa had taken during his Hong Kong trip with his DSLR. I was like imagining myself in Hong Kong when I was browsing through the pictures, letting my imaginations run wild. Haha!

Craving so much for my favourite chocolate cookies that are lying peacefully in the fridge, untouched! Very sadly, I cannot devour 'em because my voice is almost lost, (sister's fault and has nothing to do with sore throat).

This is the one that I am referring! My all-time favourite chocolate cookies! High-recommended~! They are usually sold out in a flash so grab them fast and you will be able to taste the goodness of it! Yummy! Sensation of chocolate chips melting on your tongue on every bite.~ O-mi-god, the more I describe, the more I am on the verge of drooling. I really want to grab a bite of that heaven-like cookie but I must resist. Q_Q

OH YES, my parents are arriving at Singapore from Hong Kong this midnight! Finally, after days of endurance, they are coming back. Missed them a lot... I wonder what they had got for me!!! Hehe.~~~ *Enthusiastic*

Amara Log Cake.

Amara Log Cake for Christmas. It looked really tasty and pretty right? Truthfully, it was horrible. I took a bite and disappointment washed up on me. Because the cake was really plain, just vanilla flavour. What's worse was, I thought, at least there was chocolate. HOWEVER, it was just a decoration. -_-

24/12/10: Christmas Eve.

Out with Mdm Qilin! Missed her so much, never got to meet her till then because she was busy going overseas. Haha. We met at Bishan MRT then off to Bugis > Lunch @ Yoshinoya > Bugis Street > Iluma > Caught the movie Rapunzel: A Tangled Tale > Picture time!

We took many many pictures of ourselves! Unfortunately, some pictures went missing, though I did remember copying and pasting 'em into my folder. Let's just say, a stupid and weird thing occurred. Hmph! Thinking positively, we can go out together again to snap more pictures but be extra careful next time. :D

In a flash, the month of November is over and December has arrived.
Today marks the start of December and also the last month of 2010. Very soon, holidays would come to an end. Thereafter, we would be celebrating Christmas, followed by the New Year, 2011!

Time really flies, without me knowing. I'll be sitting for my Os' already. >_<

I just hope that December will pass by slowly so that I could cherish every bit of moment. Also, wishing that December treats me well and let things run smoothly as I want it to be! :)

13 - 17 Nov : Malaysia & Genting Trip

It had been a pretty long time since I've stepped onto the hills of Genting. Haha. Shall post up tons of pictures on this post today! Here goes.~

While waiting for the food to be served, I spent the lil' amount of time taking pictures. :P

Shopped and toured around Malacca then drove up straight for Genting Highlands.

It was chilly there and packed with human-beings. Checked into hotel > settled down with the luggages > went to play. Parents headed to the Casino, as usual. Whereas, Sis 'N I did shopping!

21 Nov, my birthday! Aha. This huge specs made my eyes look weird..

Got tired and had tea break @Starbucks! ♥

Cheeks got rosy. :O

It got super cloudy, misty and cold in the evening.

I became superwoman!

Bought my favourite Famous Amos cookies too! Was famished, teehee.

Stayed in the hotel for 3D2N. Then said goodbye to Genting and drove down the sloppy and whirly roads.

On the way back, stopped by a few shopping centres. Once again, had another meal for lunch @ Sushi King. But we ordered different food. Laughs!

Shopped around some more and had dinner @ Kenny Rogers Roasters!
At first, dad even requested to eat @ Sushi King AGAIN. Crazy bumby. If I ate Sushi King for the third time, I may have nightmares of 'em. No joke.

Played volleyball & frisbee. We had nothing to play at first because Joel brought the volleybal but then it had no more air so we went to a shop near the beach. Dekai bought the frisbee and Shan Shan bought a volleyball.

Later went to Vivo City > Harbourfront > Pizza Hut. Thanks to DeKai, we got a free meal! So generous of him to treat us. And he was such a man of his words. Joel & Dekai had a bet with each other about what time this performance started. In the end, Dekai guessed wrongly and had to treat us all a meal! But we weren't that evil, Dekai only paid about a 60% bill and the rest of us forked out the 40%.

I'm not finished yet, with EVERYTHING. There are still many more to go, like my overseas trip and my birthday celebration, etc. However, I'll post the rest on another day. Do stay tuned yeah! And please help me by clicking onto my Nuffnang Ads, this is much appreciated! :)

It is officially the start of school holidays! Although, I have many supplementary lessons during the holidays but at least I don't have to wake up so early anymore! I really dread waking up in the wee hours of the morning.

During the last period, we waited for our Pizza delivery. Finally, we began our class party! There was so many varieties of food - Potato chips, candies, sandwiches, cake, sushi, muffins, beehoon, pizza, chocolates, and so on. It was quite a blast, I shall say. :)

I don't have the pictures now, because dim-witted Alexis had forgotten to bring her camera! Therefore, I'll post once I've received them @Facebook. (^.^)

Today did not go smoothly. Frankly speaking, it was a rough and bad day for 3E1.

All of these happened when we were having our SPA Assessment 1 in the labs.

First thing in the morning, a few of us realised some of our valuables had gone missing.

Qilin's wallet was in the General Office which was found in the rubbish bin by the aunty.

Qilin had no idea her wallet was missing until Xinyi asked if she'd lost her wallet because her wallet was in the Office. She panicked and rushed to retrieve it.

Then, it dawned on me that, I had left my pouch containing 2 iPods in my bag. Hurriedly, I checked and it was nowhere to be found. I was like 'holy mama', repeating 'shit' all the time. I even thought I'd left it at home but then I remembered me hesitating whether to bring it down to the lab.

Xinyi & Xiuwen also lost their wallets.

A few of us. girls, just got out of class (without teacher's permission) and reported to the general office. An admin teacher helped us search for the wallet. We, girls, dispersed and help find the missing valuables too. Then when we all gathered, they'd found my pouch! I was overjoyed. But then I found it weird that it felt so thin when it has always been so bulky. I opened it and realised only 1 iPod was inside. I told Mr Chia and he said the aunty found it in the rubbish bin, in a bag full of papers. I went back to the same bin to find the other missing iPod. I was so distressed, I just overturned the bag and threw all the contents out onto the floor. Then I found my Hello Kitty holder and the other iPod. THANK GOD! You wouldn't know how lucky I felt I was!

Though I had spotted my iPods but still I was determined to help Xinyi 'N Xiuwen find their wallets. We searched all over the school and even skipped recess finding it. After recess, there was nobody in class 3E1 and no lesson was held. Everybody including the teacher helped to find. Despite our huge efforts, we had no gain. We did not manage to find the remaining 2 wallets. It was sad because Xiuwen had her IC in there.

Although, I had no losses, I am really frustrated/angry/pissed off/agitated/annoyed/enraged/irritable/infuriated by this person's actions. It is totally an act of stupidity & foolishness. If you have nothing better to do, go find something else to keep yourself busy with. Instead of playing pranks on people by stealing their belongings and hiding it somewhere else! It is not fun at all, if you were in the victim's shoes, would you like it?! If you think it's funny or you find that it's a joke, you jolly well visit a psychiatrist. Something's really wrong with your head and you're a total pervert!

I hope nothing like this would happen, ever again.

End-Of-Year is officially OVER!! But.. my SPA skill 1 'O' Level is coming up soon. -_- I just hope everything goes out fine and smoothly, most importantly I don't get too nervous that my palms get sweaty then everything turns upside-down. That would be real bad.

At least, for now, I can take a breath. "Phoo phoo."

But not for long, 'cos 'O' Level is coming up really soon and I'm sure the teachers are gonna rush up with teaching us all the topics. Even the pre-post activities schedule for sec3 is so boring, we only have Games Carnival and Police Talk........ >~<

Hey hey people! I'm sure every school in Singapore is celebrating Teacher's Day today right? Haha.

Anyways, school had gone pretty well today. The performances held were pretty awesome too. So so many ex-navalites came back to school! The 2km walk for Aces Day was not bad too.

I want to thank all my teachers for everything! Especially all their hard work and effort that they have put in. ^^

I really shopped till I dropped with my mom that day. Really happy because, luckily, I didn't window-shop. I brought stuff back home. >:D

Universal Studio Trip, 07.08.2010.

As promised, I shall now update on the Universal Studio outing, dated on 7 August. Though, at the start, I felt really reluctant to upload all the pictures. There are simply too many of them. However, since I have the time, I figured I should do it anyways. (=^~^=)

I went to Universal Studio with my family - dad, mom, sis. The 4 of us. My dad didn't really appear in many of the pictures as he was busy snapping photographs. I also did a little part on the photography. Haha, that day was really enjoyable and memorable. :)

(Ticket zoomed in) There is only 1 ticket, the rest of the entry tickets were booked online, which is the paper. ^

These were coupons given from the Guest Service Counter. $10 coupon per entry ticket.

Sadly, the roller coaster rides were closed down due to some faults. I intended to try the roller coaster rides but after standing in front of the roller coaster tracks, all I could do was stand frozen on my feet with mouth wide open. Omg, the tracks was like, -undescribable-. Maybe I would sit this ride in my next life.~ Laughs!

Next stop, went to sit for an underground roller coaster ride. It had virtual images with sound effects too. Let me tell you, it was as scary as the big roller coaster ride okay! I was screaming my lungs out during the entire ride y'know! What's worse was, it was dark and you couldn't even see the tracks. So I could only feel myself going downwards almost vertically, angled 90-degrees at fast speed, twisting around, and even falling down backwards!! In my head, I was thinking, oh shit shit shit, I'm gonna die. :'( HA. I screamed until I teared. Horrible experience, but the ride was not bad actually. Lol!

Bought refreshments! - Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream!

Watched a life water performance after that. It was fantastic. I felt like I was in the scene of a movie. There were gunshots, bombs, fire. Wheeyew, it was totally extravagant.

Next! To the Far Far Away Land. :D

Later, we watched a Shrek 4-D Adventure. It's like 3D, gotta wear the glasses but it's more real. There were water and chair movements too. Cool, but got pretty wet after the show. Haha!

After the show, got into this shop called Fairy Godmother's Potion Shop where they sold anything and everything about Shrek.

Sat on another roller coaster ride. It was thrilling but ain't the least bit scary. Fun! I even rode this roller coaster thrice. :}

Next, sat on a merry-go-round called King Julien's Beach Party-Go-Round. Haha. I felt like a kiddo, but I liked it and it was fun. Hehe.

Guess what we're so curiously looking at? Haha.

It was this! After lots of fun, calories were burnt too. We got famished and decided to dine at Loui's NY Pizza Parlor!

See the skeletal figure hanging on the tree branch? Based on my observations, I think the skeletal figure is a parachuter, his plane is stuck on top of the trees. He got stuck in one of the tree branch when parachuting. And he couldn't get down. So he died in the end. What a poor fella.

Next up, went to SuperStar Candies. Bought some tidbits there too.

At first, we wanted to wait for the fireworks that was gonna start at 10pm. But we decided not to after that. Bid farewell to Universal Studio and out we were. :(

Common test is drawing nearer. I am so not looking forward to it. The school is so cruel to give us 2 subject exams per day and yet not letting us go home straight after the exams have ended. We still have to continue with our lessons like normal curriculum time. I really don't like this. :(

Saturday, caught INCEPTION! Pretty cool show. Though some parts did confuse me and made my head spin round and round. However, overall, the storyline's not bad. Rated: 3/5. :')

Caught Eclipse today! It was a good movie but not as good as the book/novel itself. Hehe. The book has more details than the movie. Like definitely. The movie had some violence especially the scene of the fight between the Cullens plus wolves and the newborns. There were some funny scenes too.

Omigod, Jacob (Taylor Lautner) is super hot! I can't take my eyes off him or should I say his body? Hahaha! I think I've mentioned this before when I watched New Moon as well. Wheeyew, his figure is just too perfect. And he looks so adorable and endearing. Muacks! <3

I stuffed so much food into my mouth before and during the movie. Guess I gotta skip dinner tonight 'cos I'm feeling really full now. I had Starbucks 'Chocolate chip and cream drink' and chocolate cake. Yum, the cake was delicious and super chocolate-y. Later, had nachos plus popcorn. I ate a bit of popcorn only. But my stomach was about to burst any minute, I tell you. Haha.

Caught the movie Knight And Day. It was a good movie. It had action and humour. And not forgetting, a handsome actor. Haha! Not bad, rated: 4/5. :')

Thereafter, went around shopping and did photography too. Heez.

Wednesday, 24/06/2010.

Headed to Vivo City > Sentosa. It's been quite a long time since the previous time I've been to Sentosa. The place had major changes and updates. We wanted to go to the Universal Studios but we couldn't get the tickets twice! Because they were all sold out. D:< It's alright, there's always a next time. Right? ;)

Spotted the huge toilet sign? Haha.

Bought tickets for the Luge ride. We had to sit on the Skyride first then come down by the Luge. It was fun. The skyride was much higher and longer than the one I sat in Korea at the Everland Resort. But I almost fell when I was coming down. Because while 'driving' the Luge, it started pouring. So the floor was slippery and the slopes were steep. The Luge got out of control and I started skiding and screaming down the hill. It was utterly embarrassing but luckily no one noticed my behaviour.

Next stop, to the beach!

Took the sentosa train back to Vivo City. Was fatigue and hungry by then. Had dinner @The Soup Spoon. Yum yum yum.
